We’re one week post-launch, and this book is still holding steady in the Top 50 Bisexual New Releases on Amazon.
That’s entirely thanks to you.
Whether you preordered, reviewed, shouted about it online, or quietly slid it into your weekend reading queue—you're the reason she’s still moving. I’m grateful and stunned and kind of emotionally wrecked, in the best way.
If you haven’t grabbed your copy yet, now’s a great time to see what all the buzz is about.
⚡ Chaos Corner:
September has been a blur—but a beautiful one.
We’re one week post-launch, and I’m still riding the high (and the inbox flood). This book made it out into the world, and you showed up for her in every way. Whether you devoured it, reviewed it, or quietly tucked it into your Kindle for later—thank you.
Right now, I’m resting my voice (emotionally, not literally) and working on what’s next. But I wanted to say: this story was deeply personal, and the way you’ve responded has floored me.
Grieving the ending in the best way? How about a 10k word bonus scene where our pack celebrates an anniversary in a hotel room with the BEST shower.
📣 Preorder Now:
Next up in the series is Scents of Embers, and this one’s going to burn a little differently.
You’re about to meet Elevven—or as her found family calls her, Levie. She’s Sevyn’s long-separated twin, a hidden omega who’s kept herself buttoned up and invisible for years. But her story? It’s messy, soft, stubborn, and way overdue.
This book brings her to the surface—and gives you a deeper look into Sevyn’s history, too. You saw him start to heal in Scents of Exposure, but Scents of Embers fills in the cracks.
Expect nest-building, slow trust, pack tension, and a romance that doesn’t ask her to be small.
As always, you'll get the best price with a preorder!
🌩 Stormy Thoughts:
I’m not great at letting go of a book after it’s out in the world. Especially one that lived in my chest the way this one did. It’s strange to go from obsessing over every sentence to watching people meet the story for the first time—without needing me there to explain it.
There’s a part of me that’s proud. There’s another part that’s twitchy, that wants to rewrite that heat scene even though I know I won’t.
I’m learning to sit in the quiet that follows the chaos. To let the silence mean done, not missing.
And I just want to say: if you felt something from this story, if it stayed with you after the final scene—you helped make that feeling real. You made it echo.
So thank you, for being part of this strange and beautiful process.
☕ Books & Brew:
Drinking: Dutch Bros Cookie Butter Mocha
Reading: A secret project my book bestie is writing with her book bestie—because I’m a reader first, and always
Looking forward to: Hockey season. Go Avs go. 🏒
Vibing with: My fall decor, which I’ve absolutely put out way too early—don’t judge me, it’s cozy and I needed the dopamine
📚 For my impatient readers:
To the Beta Besties—you helped shape this story, and I will never stop screaming thank you.
To the ARC crew—you’re reading, reviewing, and emotionally unraveling, and honestly? That’s the dream.
ARC signups are always open for upcoming projects, and follower count doesn’t matter. If you love spicy emotional chaos and want early access to fall hard for fictional people before the rest of the world—you belong here.
TTFN & stay golden,
- Colbie
