     I never meant to hurt anyone, but my naive actions forced my best friend away and into the alpha and omega province, Odessa. I didn’t understand the gravity of my actions as a young and impulsive beta, but years later, I saw how wrong I was.

     A second chance meeting with Raider brought me back to our time as teenage kids, and I couldn’t refuse the nudge that fate was giving me. I followed his lead, taking my first steps into their hemmed-in world, greeting his packmates, Sevyn and Badden, with a sense of shock and awe.

     Do I find my place by their side, shirking my previous passion for a new adventure, or do I go on with my life outside these walls, snapping their reluctant trust and hurting them more than I had ever hurt someone before?
